The Birch Woburn Dinner Guide for a Stylish Evening Out
If you’re looking for somewhere lovely for dinner during your stay, we highly recommend The Birch in Woburn, around a short drive from The Pool House.
Situated on the edge of the beautiful historic market town of Woburn, The Birch is a stylish, family-run restaurant and bar with a relaxed but slightly special feel — perfect for a date night, dinner with friends or an evening out while you’re staying with us.
The restaurant focuses on fresh, quality food and locally sourced produce, with a menu combining British favourites with more contemporary dishes. There’s also a great choice of wines, cocktails and drinks from the bar.
Inside, you can choose from the contemporary bar area, bright conservatory or the lovely upper dining area beneath an atrium roof. In warmer weather, there’s also outdoor deck seating.
We think it’s a particularly nice choice when you want somewhere that feels a little more special than a traditional pub, without being overly formal.

Our tip: Make an evening of it and have a wander around Woburn before dinner — it’s a gorgeous little town with lovely architecture, independent shops and plenty of character.
